Hani El-Qasem, Senior System Engineer with Rubrik. Currently working with organisations across the UK in the area of Cloud, Software Defined Data Centre, End User Computing, Virtualisation, Backup, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Systems Management.

I’m 40 something years old and live in Manchester (UK) with my wife and two daughters. I have been involved in IT for over 30 years. Professionally, I’ve worked in various roles and in a variety of different industries (mainly IT and Telecoms).  In those years, I’ve been lucky enough to work in companies that have presented opportunities to move sideways as well as upwards. Respectively, I’ve gained valuable experience in technical support, business analysis, implementation, project management, pre-sales, business development, marketing, direct sales and management.

This blog is focussed (and I use this word loosely) on every day challenges in Business, Life and Technology. The solution to any problem is usually best tackled in small chunks and we’ll be addressing them in this blog, one byte at a time.
